In - house laboratory facilities
KAM's laboratories are housed in privately-owned facilities, conveniently located in Long Island City, New York. They are fully accredited by the respective Federal, State and City governmental agencies and are organized in a manner that supports the performance of a wide range of analyses and the rendering of services on a 24/7 basis.
Our project management, implementation and laboratory work is performed in strict adherence to Federal, State and City regulatory standards. The company employs an independently supervised Quality Assurance / Quality Control program assuring unbiased results and a high quality product. Wireless networks and a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure ensure high productivity through real time project management, sampling log maintenance, sample analysis, data mining and reporting.
Laboratory equipment includes advanced instrumentation (TEM's, EDS, XRF, PLM, PCM, GC/MS, ECD, FAA, GFAA, EDCs, etc.), high vacuum hoods, muffle furnaces, sample storage and preparation facilities, an assortment of consumables and an advanced IT infrastructure and "tools" that support the testing of various types of materials. The laboratories' Director and her team are responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted continuity and safety of lab operations and the precise implementation of KAM's Quality Assurance/ Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
Air, water, soil, oil and other waste samples are collected and tested for hazardous materials, such as metals, volatile and semi-volatile compounds, pesticides, herbicides and PCBs. Presented below is the core group of the analyses we perform:
The laboratories' daily operations are overseen by the Director who is a highly experienced professional with advanced degrees in Chemistry and Environmental Engineering. The teams of scientists, analysts and technicians that staff the laboratories have many years of experience and many hold advanced degrees in their respective field of expertise.

KAM maintains a wide range of government-administered accreditation and certifications which qualify the laboratories to perform the full range of professional services described herein.
